Here’s a few really good remixes by and of Passion Pit. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite bands of 2009. It’s Christmas Eve and I’m stuck at work. At least I’ll be getting off early. I already got the only Christmas present I’ll need last weekend (My nephew Tyler) so I’m not expecting much other then being with my closest friends and listening to some damn good music, oh and don’t forget the good booze and spiked eggnog… I hope you all enjoy and have a Merry Christmas!

JJ XXI of DIGIRAATII has been staying busy with his new solo projects as well as some new DIGIRAATII material. This mix I’m posting is a good testament to that. Covering the sound he loves most, Indie Dance, this mix is a good example of what to expect if you were ever to see him live. Solid with bangn’ tracks, an all around great mix! And make sure to check out his link for vol. 1. On Contrast & Colour JJ XXI shows us a different side of his talents by lacing the beat with his orginal vocals. I think out of all these new tracks I like that one the most… But they’re all still are great tracks! I don’t think there’s a tune these guys have made that I haven’t liked in one way or another. Nice work man!

I wanted to let everyone know about a few things coming up and how it’s gonna effect the amount of posts I’ll be making for the next couple of weeks. We’re in the process of re-vamping the blog with a new look and feel that will make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for as well as being more fun to visit. Also FTF and the Lost Boys will be teaming up to bring you a new monthly event on Capitol Hill starting in February of 2010. More details on the event as we get closer but I can tell you this, if it’s on this blog, it’s gonna be the kinda music you’ll be able to expect at the night. So with that said, I’m gonna be focusing quite a bit on getting the designing for the blog done and getting the details of the events in order. I’m still gonna post as much as possible but for the next few weeks a lot of my time will be caught up in that. I got a bunch of stuff to post today though so make sure and check back in all day… Here’s a few that I’ve been rockn’ for the past week or so to hold you over until then. Oh and one more thing, Happy Birthday Cynthia! Getting old is fun – hehe…. =]

We all know and love the Pixies and I think this track has been a staple in everyone’s life in one way or the other. Well I was listening to it and was like ‘damn this could be edited to a dubstep beat’. I did some searching and sure enough someone did. This remix isn’t so much for the floor but more for listening. The original will forever be the best mix but this remix is pretty damn cool! I hope everyone had a great week and maybe our paths will cross over the weekend. Enjoy the sound! =]
